So sorry ’bout it, but you’re so behind. Maggie and Abe were born March of 2017 and we met them on their 30th day in the NICU.
As I write this, Miss Magnolia sleeps beside me (which is where she always sleeps in case you’re wondering) for her nap and Mister Abraham is playing with his Da-Da (who is his favorite, the stinker). They’re big now at 15 months old. It’s hard to believe how fast the last year as gone by.
We joke about it, but Maggie’s personality matches her hair. She’s a firecracker and keeps us all in stitches. She’s daring and brave and funny. She eats EVERYTHING and I don’t just mean food (don’t ask and I won’t tell!). She is fearless and darling and so very, very beautiful.
Abe is more cautious than his sister but absolutely the sweetest baby ever. He has worked hard to come back from behind in so many areas and we couldn’t be prouder of him. His wide grin and blonde curls will melt even the hardest of hearts.
To say our older kids love them is an understatement. They’ve done that magical thing babies do to families and bound us all together even closer than before. I’m so proud of my children and how they love. It’s the greatest honor of my life to watch them grow up.
