Summer of BIG things

My kids are growing up. Yeah, yeah, I know; that’s what they do. But this past year and especially this summer has displayed just how much they’re growing up!

It’s so much fun to see them seek adventure and do new things. I love watching them become the people God has made them to be.

Our three oldest made decisions to follow Christ this year and were baptized this month.

The kids attended their first ever protest to tell their community and country that #familiesbelongtogetherNoah has attended his first overnight camps this summer! Two of them!! This is of his second go-round but his first with his best friend.

We have been blessed to spend time with friends that are like family at Doe River Gorge, a very special place to us.

Adam attended Boy Scout Camp for his first time! It was a wonderful experience for him!

Noah has attended this camp for day camp the last couple years but this was his first overnight experience. He had a blast and learned so much about God.

Lily got her ears pierced AND braces this summer !All my big boys have had big boy haircuts this summer. It’s adorable and scary at the same time!

We have attended a couple VBSs as usual. The kids have so much fun.

We like to use our Zoo pass even though it’s hot 😝and going with friends is the best!

A lot of summer days have been spent at our local aquatic center!

Lily completed a week of day camp with Pine Cove this year. It was her first time and she loved it.

Her recital in May shocked us how much she’s grown and learned this year. Being a big big sister has been amazing for her too!

It is my greatest honor to raise these children into adults and I can’t wait to watch what God does next in our lives. πŸ’œ
